Creating new life within you is an incredibly exciting time - your body is growing and changing in ways that you never thought possible. And while it may feel like this time will last forever, before you know it, you will be staring into the eyes of your most splendid creation, your newborn baby.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
Are you immunised?
Safety of you and your baby is my number one priority and I always ensure that my vaccinations (including Whooping Cough and Influenza) are up to date. I am also vaccinated for COVID-19.
The best time for maternity photos is between 32-36 weeks (but please don't leave it this late to book). At this stage of your pregnancy you will most likely still feel comfortable and mobile - if you leave it too late, there is a chance that your baby will arrive early and you will miss out on maternity photos altogether. If you book your session for before 32 weeks, we may not capture the full roundness of your beautiful, expanding belly.

where can i have maternity photos taken?
Maternity photos can be taken outside on location at sunset or in the comfort of your own home. If neither of these options suit you, we can also look at hiring a studio space (additional cost applies).

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY maternity PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?
For your maternity session it is important to wear clothing that will accentuate your beautiful belly - this might be a fitted dress or top, a maternity dress or if you're open to it, something that will show a little belly skin, like an open shirt. And if you are unsure of what to wear or would like some styling advice feel free to send through some photos of what you have in mind.

can my partner or child/ren be photographed too?
Absolutely! Your Maternity Session is all about the connection you have with each other as well as to your unborn babe. How each of you are feeling about adding a new member to your family is all part of what we want to document.
