There are so many beautiful locations for outdoor family photography in Melbourne. And if you have a dog, you can absolutely bring them along too! Just bear in mind that it might impact which location we use.
This gorgeous session with the Baldwin Family was a final reminder for them of their life in Melbourne before moving interstate. They wanted to document their family, with their dog, in a bayside location, and I had the perfect spot for them. Everybody had so much fun and we had the most glorious light to play with.
Sunset is the best time for an outdoor family photography session and it is a wonderful opportunity for your family to be really present and enjoy one another. And by being present with them, your children will remember so much more than what they looked like. They will remember how they felt, and how much they enjoyed experiencing these moments with you.
But most of all, they will remember feeling and knowing just how much they are loved.
Did you know that research has shown that having photos with parents and family can help build self esteem in a child? Especially if those photos are displayed somewhere that they can be seen everyday. Isn't that amazing?!
So, if not for you, do it for them - you will never regret having memories of your family that you can hold onto forever.
